Mixing and matching printed crop tops with various colored skirts has been a style that has remained very popular. Now, solid colored matching sets seem to be the latest thing to do. Personally I really wearing matchy-matchy outfits. So here’s my take on this enduring look.
As you may have already noticed I tend to wear skirts a lot, and I especially like wearing them with crop tops. So when I stumbled upon this crisscrossed crop top in radiant rose at my local mall I knew I had to purchase it. In fact, I automatically started looking for the matching skirt since I just knew there had to be one. The color is what attracted me to this outfit at first, it’s bright, cheerful, and it reminded me of spring when all the flowers begin to bloom. Secondly, the architectural details on the crop top around the neckline and back are absolutely wonderful. I like how it provides a contemporary flair. You can either pair this top with a matching pencil skirt for a sleek, curve hugging look. Or you can style it the way I did, in which I paired it with a midi skirt. I purposely did this in order to show how a modern day piece of clothing can be worn with a classic skirt like the midi. The distinction between both pieces is quite clear, one is innovative in its cuts and details, while the other is a classic staple in women’s clothing. Yet, both come together beautifully.
