Today it’s all about mixing and matching popular trends, emerging trends, and even including trends that may be in their last phase.
The moto jacket has remained a very popular clothing item for the last two years. I don’t see it going away anytime soon, as moto jackets are offered in various colors and materials depending on the season. Currently the color of the year is marsala (or burgundy). Therefore, I’m sure you’ve seen it a lot in accessories, makeup and clothing collections. However, this color will definitely become a dying trend in the next few months since a new “IT” color will be selected next year. Based on the styles I’ve seen during fashion week I would say bright shades of red will become very popular, specially for outerwear.
Spring is right around the corner and with that festival season is about to begin. I can’t wait since 70’s style clothing is always fun and popular during this time, as it is composed of breezy fabrics, cool prints and earthy tones. A 70’s trend I’m really excited for is the sailor pant. I can’t get enough of the wide waist band, tons of buttons, and extra comfort.
So I matched my burgundy moto jacket and 70’s inspired jeans with a striped turtleneck, oil slick buckle boots, and a grey beanie for an on trend look.
