I love my black and white bustier top from Alice and Olivia. So much so that I knew I had to incorporate it into the blog more than once and make it part of the “I love my…” segment. At first glance this bustier seems very dressy, as the fabric has a glossy finish similar to that of satin. For that reason, I wore it with a charming tulle skirt. I made sure the outfit looked suitable for a romantic date by wearing vivid red lipstick, my hair in long loose waves, and black patent 4″ inch heels.
The delicacy in the structure and design makes one think that this black and white piece is only appropriate for a night out and styled in a dressy way. However, it also looks really good paired with ripped jeans and combat boots. I like the idea of mixing formal items and matching them with unexpected casual pieces. The day was quite hot, therefore my leather moto jacket would have been too hot for me. So the next best thing is always a classic blazer. As my hair is really long I put it up in a sleek bubble pony tail. I didn’t want it to take the attention away from my top, it had to be the focal point of my outfit, it’s just so pretty. This outfit definitely brought a little bit of everything.
