What’s your favorite day of the week?
Mine is Sunday. Years ago I used to work Sundays, and to be honest it was the most depressing time since my friends and family would make plans without me. The only good thing was that I also had great friends at work, so to lift our spirits we would order great food for lunch and try to make plans after work. I’m so happy I don’t have to work Sundays anymore. I feel like the majority of people are off on this day so it’s easier to make plans with friends during the day and get to spend time together. My boyfriend and I use Sunday as our “fun day,” it’s a very special day for us. Since we live in a place where outdoor shopping malls are very popular it’s fun to walk around for a bit, grab a bite to eat, walk some more (with an ice cream cone in hand), probably do some shopping, and later catch a movie–all without having to leave the shopping center.
Luckily, we live in a state where the sun shines pretty much everyday. So I’m able to wear my best clothes on Sundays. As I’ve told you guys before, my outfits are always based on my mood. Therefore, my Sunday best is always lively and pretty, just like this lace crop top I have on. I find it so delicate and flattering, especially when it’s paired with a light pink skirt. With the skirt being very playful in its cut and color, I like that the texture and short length of the white top accentuates my figure, without it being too sexy. I like to experiment with accessories, so today was a real mix of things: orange aviators, gold bracelets, silver shoes, and an iridescent bag. To keep the youthful and girly flow going I pulled my hair back in a sleek pony and added a small braid along the side.
