In thirteen days it will be the first day of Fall, can you believe it? I was just getting used to Summer lol. I am really excited for Fall though, Fall fashion trends are to die for this year. From sheer laced victorian tops, bold pleats on skirts, to plaid everywhere.
I already started embracing the plaid trend, does that mean I’m breaking the rules since we’re still in summer though? If so, then so be it, I don’t want to be right. Fall is calling my name big time. I can wait to wear high waisted pants, over the knee boots, and the color of the year–marsala. That color is great on everything from shoes, dresses, nail polish, shoot even lipstick. Have you noticed my lipstick is a deep red/burgundy. It goes so well with a large array of colors, just like todays mustard yellow and green plaid outfit. The sweater is the perfect light weight essential for the upcoming months, as it’s ideal for layering. It has a crop fit so it can be worn with high waisted pants, skirts, or over a button down shirt. Now moving onto my plaid shirt. Lately I’ve been seeing green plaid everywhere, so I’m really glad I have one of these shirts too. It’s a modern take to a 90’s classic I feel. I wanted to add a dramatic flare to the whole ensemble so I brought out my most popular jeans, a ripped black denim pair. These jeans bring out something out of me every time I wear them, it must be my Rihanna alter ego. To complete the look I wore sleek boots and a black hat. xoxo
