I've been wearing capes since they came on trend two years ago, however now there's a new player in the game--the cape blazer. The name says it all, it's a cape that is also a blazer. I like how it keeps you looking chic and sophisticated, yet it isn't as structured as a typical blazer. This style is a lot more trendy. My idea for this outfit was to match all sorts of statement pieces and make it work. I paired my metallic jacket with a sheer lace top. A long sleeve top was ideal for this match since I wanted the lace details to pop from underneath the cape.
