I’ve been wearing capes since they came on trend two years ago, however now there’s a new player in the game–the cape blazer. The name says it all, it’s a cape that is also a blazer. I like how it keeps you looking chic and sophisticated, yet it isn’t as structured as a typical blazer. The print on this baroque cape is amazing, it features gold and burgundy details.
My idea for this outfit was to match all sorts of statement pieces and make it work. I paired my metallic jacket with a sheer lace top. A long sleeve top was ideal for this match since I wanted the lace details to pop from underneath the cape. I also wanted to add extra sparkle to my look, so I wore a pair of crystal embellished leggings. These stretchy pants kept me looking glam and feeling comfy all day long. I finished my look with a shiny ear cuff and black patent heels.
