Sometimes color can get overrated. I know that’s a huge shocker for me to say, but I’m serious.
Some days it’s good to just strip yourself of all color and pick out an entirely simple look. And by simple I don’t mean your outfit has to sacrifice in details and staple pieces. But, rather wear a look that speaks for itself. An outfit that doesn’t need the help of loud bright colors in order to stand out. That’s what I did today with this all white number I’ve got on.
I wore a mock neck bodysuit that is slightly more see through than what I would normally like, yet it’s not too bad. I was still able to wear it out without feeling too revealed. The skirt is my favorite part, it’s flared, gives great shape, and it’s tweed. That’s what I mean when I say that a simple and effortless look doesn’t have to be at the expense of great detail, the tweed pattern provides dimension, while the high neckline on my top creates a balance. Plus white is just so crisp.
