Just a Few Raindrops

I was extremely happy to hear rain was in our forecast this morning. However, I didn’t realize how much rain we were going to get and I was actually caught off guard this morning. I honestly thought we were only going to get just a few raindrops. I was not dressed for the rain, but I still made the best out of it during our shoot. I actually feel the location and clothing complemented each other very well amongst the rain. Personally I prefer to be at home on a rainy day while sitting in front of a fire and with a big cup of cocoa.

For this look I wore all black details, from embellished black shorts, to black tights, a black cable sweater, and boots. I love clothing that you can style different ways. It allows you to expand your wardrobe and put many items to good use for different occasions. So when I found this burgundy moto jacket I thought about wearing it with sequin gold tights and heels. As well as with a black leather pencil skirt and crop top. And of course with all black details like I did today. As you can see it was all about simplicity and a pop of color for todays look.
