It’s always such a great pleasure to wake up in the morning to lovely messages and emails waiting for me to read. I’m such a softy and always end up crying since I get so touched. The idea that I can inspire another person through my fashion sense is so incredible and truly unbelievable.
As the blog keeps growing and my reach is expanding I am often asked about statistics and numbers when I am contacted by clothing brands. But, I feel they are more than just numbers. Every single number represents another person who saw something they liked in my blog and is willing to join me through my blogging journey and wherever life may take me. Knowing that you guys care to know what I am wearing today, what I am up to, or want to get to know me personally a little bit more humbles me so much.
The idea of starting a style blog came to me years ago, since I was a teenager. But I never had the courage to pursue it since I was too embarrassed about what people would say or think about me. I have many interests such as biology, history, baking, traveling, etc. But fashion and writing have been things I’ve always enjoyed. I love getting dressed up everyday and expressing myself through the clothing I wear. So when girls began stopping me more and more often on the street to ask me about the clothes I was wearing I knew it was time for me to start my blog. I finally dared to make my dream come true and took the plunge. Writing, in my opinion is so remarkable, putting my very own thoughts into actual words on a piece of paper (or computer screen lol) and sharing it with the world is so special to me. Writing allows me to brainstorm, express my emotions, and peek into my creative side.
We all have the opportunity to grab that pen and write our own life story. So before this day ends, take a break and dare to dream. Take a chance and make the most out of everyday. Don’t wait to live. Take the plunge and pursue your passion.
