Time really is flying by. Just a month ago we were getting ready to celebrate 4th of July and now it’s August 2nd surprisingly. WOW! Can you believe it?
Looking back on these images made me realize how I always end up wearing red, white and blue on Independence day. I think about what to wear on 4th of July for days and tell myself that I’m not going to wear those three colors since I don’t want to look like a human flag. Yet, somehow I still end up wearing them lol. However, this year I skipped the stars and went for a red floral print, and instead of blue I replaced it with something more magical–sparkles! A romper is the ideal outfit for a day full of overeating, frolicking, and fireworks. I kept my outfit really casual with a crisp white pair of converse and a bandana around my neck. And, finished it off with a saturated red lipstick on my lips.
I was so terrified to burn my hair with the sparkles I had in my hands. They were really long and shooting everywhere. It was such a great day though. I definitely ate way too much and had the best time at my friends party. Can we just go back to it again? 🙂 (I wish!)
xoxo
